Ingredients

  • 1/2 25oz bag Frozen Cheese Ravioli
  • 1/2 16oz Jar Spaghetti Sauce
  • One Bag Frozen Steamable Peas
  • 2 Apple Chicken Sausages (Target has great All Natural Chicken Apple Gouda Sausages)

How to

I purchased frozen cheese ravioli, spaghetti sauce, all natural apple chicken gouda sausages and a bag of frozen steamable peas to make this baby led weaning meal.

It only costs about $7 for the ingredients that I used and about $11.50 total for the ingredients. I created 14 meals for less than $7!

  1. Fill a pot about 1/2 full of water and start it on high until it comes to a boil.
  2. While waiting for it to boil, cut up the sausages into slices then dices. I cut each slice into 6 pieces.
  3. Meanwhile, start the peas in the microwave according to the bag directions.
  4. Once the water is at a boil, put in about half of the bag of frozen raviolis.
  5. Cook according to bag instructions (mine was about 6 minutes). Then drain.
  6. Rinse the ravioli off so that they are cool to the touch and not sticky.
  7. Cut the ravioli into quarters.
  8. Finally, get 4-6oz containers and fill them with sausage, then pasta, peas then top with the sauce. I did roughly 8 pieces of sausage and ravioli and 2 spoonfuls of peas and sauce.

So simple and perfect for baby led weaning training. So much cheaper than the prepackages baby ravioli too!
