- 1 Package Premade Pie Crust
- 1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella
- 1/2 cup Mini Pepperoni (or pepperoni cut into quarters)
- 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Melted Butter
- Sprinkle of Garlic Powder
- Mitten Cookie Cutter
- Optional: Regular Pepperoni for Snowflake Topping & Mini Cookie Cutter
How to
- Set the oven to 400 degrees.
- While the oven preheats, roll out your pie crust and cut out mittens. Make sure you have an even amount. Dusting your cookie cutter with flour will help it not stick.
- Fill half of the mittens with a tablespoon of marinara, mozzarella and pepperoni. Make sure you have about 1/4-1/2 inch on all sides.
- Then, lay the second mitten on top of the full one to make a pocket.
- Next, crimp the edges with a fork to close the pocket.
- Brush the melted butter on the top of the pockets and sprinkle garlic powder over top.
- Optional: If desired, cut out snowflakes or another shape in the pepperoni pieces and place them in the middle of the mittens.
- Bake in the oven for about 12-18 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Let cool for 5 minutes and dip in any extra marinara, if desired.
