Equipment

  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 2 Baking Sheets
  • Star Cookie Cutter
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 1 Sheet Puff Pastry Room Temperature
  • 1/4 Cup Diced Mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Shredded Gruyere Cheese about 5 oz
  • 1/2 Cup Diced Ham
  • 3 tbsp Sour Cream
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 10-15 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 Egg Well-beaten
  • 1 tbsp Chives or Dried Chives
  • Dash Salt & Pepper
  • Sprinkle Garlic Powder
  • Sprinkle Onion Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Meanwhile, cook mushrooms in olive oil in a large skillet on the stove until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove skillet from heat and stir in 1/4 cup of cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • Then, on a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut into a tree shape. You'll be able to use the two triangle pieces from the first tree to create the second tree.
  • From the leftover puff pastry from the cutouts, cut out two stars using a star cookie cutter and cut out a trunk for the second tree.
  • Next, use the beaten egg as glue to attach the stars to each tree and the trunk to the second tree.
  • Then, brush the beaten egg alongside all the edges of the putt pastry and on the star.
  • Add half of the mushroom cheese sauce to each tree and spread to within 1 inch of the edges.
  • Top with the rest of the cheese, ham and tomatoes.
  • Cook in the oven about 8 minutes.
  • Next, take the pizza out and carefully crack one egg on each pizza. I placed this near the middle so it wouldn't leak over the edge.
  • Place back in oven until egg is set. About 12 minutes. If any of the puff pastry looks like it is getting too dark, cover loosely with foil.
  • Remove from oven and top with chives, garlic & onion powder. Cut each into 3 pieces.
